Ancient Philosophy, Ethics (History of Ethics, Normative Ethics, Moral Psychology)
My research focuses on ancient philosophy, especially Hellenistic philosophy (mostly Stoicism), and examines the relationship between virtue, knowledge and happiness. I am also interested in the development of moral concepts through the classical, Hellenistic, and early Christian periods, and on contemporary questions in moral psychology and ethics.
