Research Interests:

My current area of research centers on emissions of volatile mercury to the atmosphere from volcanoes and geothermal systems, specifically from the Iceland hotspot. Previously I have worked with iron redox chemistry and microbes in freshwater and groundwater systems and am broadly devoted to environmental and contaminant chemistry.
