Education:

2019 Ph.D. (McGill) – Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences
2014 M.Sc. (McGill) – Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences
2012 B.Sc. (Pennsylvania State University) - Meteorology

Research Interests:

My current research project focuses on understanding the tornado climatology and physical mechanisms of severe weather in Canada, particularly in the Prairies, using a combination of state-of-art observations and numerical simulations. The insights gained will be used to improve severe weather forecasting in Canada.  In the past, I have worked on several projects investigating various types of mesoscale thermally driven circulations (e.g., mountain-plain solenoid and sea/lake breezes) and their associated moist convection. My other research interests include the diurnal cycle, tropical cyclones, wildfires, and air quality.
