Dr. Prinsenberg studies the observation and interpretation of ice-ocean interaction processes in Canadian ice-covers waters. He manages helicopter-borne sensors, ice beacons, and satellite imagery, which have allowed for extensive datasets on ice-ocean interactions to be created. A leader in his field, Dr. Prinsenberg is internationally consulted on ice-ocean instrumentation.
