Occupational Health and Safety is a primary concern for UNSTABLE field operations. All Environment Canada (EC) field participants will be required to read and sign relevant Task Hazards Analyses (THAs) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) before working in the field. Non-EC participants will be asked to do the same though there is no formal requirement for them to sign any documents. All field teams will be comprised of at least two members with at least one member having current First Aid certification. OHS considerations have been developed in consultation with, and approved by, Nancy Toma, regional OHS manager for Prairie and Northern. This page provides a collection of links and documentation for UNSTABLE participants and should be reviewed prior to commencement of field operations.
