For entrance into the Master's program:
Please note that the education system varies between regions within the United Kingdom. A very general description is provided below, however, it is recommended that you contact the Faculty of Graduate Studies for further information regarding applications from the United Kingdom.
- Successful completion of an Honours bachelor degree from a recognized institution within England, Ireland and Wales; OR, successful completion of an Honours bachelor degree or Master’s degree from a recognized university within Scotland (in many cases, a master’s degree is the first higher education degree offered in Scottish institutions);
- Grading systems may vary greatly within the United Kingdom, however the British marking system is harsh in general; a suggested minimum grade of B or equivalent or a standing of Second class, lower division is required in the last two years of study where a typical grading scale is:

For entrance into the PhD program:
- Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a Master’s degree or equivalent where said degree requires successful completion of a first degree for admission from a recognized institution.
