DESCRIPTION:
IMMU7040 - Immunological Methodology is a practical course covering a range of methodologies in common use in immunology and other biomedical research fields.
Lectures will cover (1) the theoretical basis of methods, (2) common applications in immunology, (3) practical pitfalls/common problems, (4) and the advantages and disadvantages of competing methodologies.

EXAM FORMAT:
Take-home exam of experimental problems incorporating several of the covered methodologies. Answers will be graded independently by at least 3 instructors and averaged.

  • Mid-Term Exam  30%
  • Final Exam          70%
