Epidemiology

Dr. Decker is a senior epidemiologist in the Epidemiology and Cancer Registry Department at CancerCare Manitoba. She has worked with Manitoba screening programs to conduct program evaluation and research since 1995. Dr. Decker is an Assistant Professor, Department of Community Health Sciences, University of Manitoba. She is also Chair of the Pan-Canadian Cervical Cancer Screening Network. Her research interests include cancer epidemiology, cancer screening, chronic disease prevention, and inequities in health care use. Dr. Decker holds a PhD in Community Health Sciences and Epidemiology from the University of Manitoba. She has a Master's degree from Dalhousie University and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo.
