Historical Note: The seventh annual conference was held 5-6 May 1994 at the Museum of Man and Nature. This marked the first time the conference was held off campus. Most of the papers dealt with the Strike but there was a biographical session as well as a session on Labour Unrest in Manitoba in the 1930s and 1940s. The first Zuken Memorial Lecture was presented by Dr. Stanley Aronowitz of City University in New York.
