Opening remarks by the Dean of the NDSU College of Arts, Dr. Thomas J. Riley.
Due to a blizzard that blocked the roads to the north of Fargo,
only 19 of the 29 papers scheduled could be presented.
To make up for this unfortunate development, a supplemental conference was held
on Friday, February 22, 2002, in Room 409 of the Tier Building at the UM, Winnipeg.
These papers are integrated in the alphabetical order of the present v.41/2001 of the Proceedings.
