 1999 Pan Am Games - The University of Manitoba

 Transit Service to the University
July 1999

Transit routes to the university have been altered slightly to accommodate the Games. The bus stop locations adjacent to Taché Hall will be closed during the Games. Buses coming to campus will drop passengers off on University Crescent across from the Visitor Centre.

Transportation within the University
A free shuttle bus will be provided by Pan Am Games Society and will run regularly counter-clockwise around the campus ring/dyke road to allow access to other buildings on campus. Additional bus stops have been added. Check the transportation map.

Handicapped Access
Arrangements have been made jointly with U of M and Pan Am to accomodate individuals with a disability requiring access into the Village and campus. If you have any questions, please contact Norma Carswell of the Parking Office at (204) 474-7067.
