The IAEP prepares you for university studies by providing you with the language skills necessary to succeed academically. Over 80% of students who enter IAEP successfully complete the program and begin their degree at the University of Manitoba!
The program has three start dates per year: January, May and September. The IAEP has five levels. Each level consists of 24 hours of instruction per week, for 15 weeks. Each level includes a one-week mid-term break. Average class size is less than 12 students per class.
These levels are designed to prepare advanced level students for academic study. The program emphasizes the English language skills necessary for university success.
This level is the highest level of the IAEP. It is designed to prepare students for admission to the University of Manitoba. Level 5 is also known as Academic English Program for University and College Entrance (AEPUCE).
Students who successfully pass Level 5/AEPUCE, meet the English Language Proficiency requirement of the following institutions:
You can be conditionally admitted to an academic undergraduate degree program at the University of Manitoba. To meet the Conditional Admission requirements, you must meet the academic requirements of the degree program, and successfully complete IAEP.
