You are not required to repeat courses with unsatisfactory grades unless you have failed to achieve an acceptable grade in a course required in your program of study or for admission to another program. There may be circumstances, however, when repeating a course to improve your grade point average is desirable.
When a course has been repeated or an equivalent course is taken, the highest grade will count towards the degree grade point average (DGPA). All attempts of the repeated course (or equivalent) will be included in the Term and Cumulative GPAs. Previous attempts of the repeated course (or equivalent) may be included in DGPA depending on faculty/school/college policy.
