WHAT IS THE STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT?
Student life is pleased to announce the return of the Student Leadership Summit! The Student Leadership Summit (SLS) is a two-day event that will bring together leaders from across the University of Manitoba and the Winnipeg community for workshops, networking, team building, hands-on learning, and two keynote addresses.
Up to 200 spaces are available for students to register as delegates for this exciting opportunity.
This year, the Student Leadership Summit will be held on March 3 and 4, 2017.
WHO SHOULD REGISTER FOR THE STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT?
All students who attend the University of Manitoba are invited to register for the Student Leadership Summit. There are 150 spaces open for registration. Selection of delegates will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
WHY SHOULD I REGISTER FOR THE STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT?
Our Mission: To provide student delegates who attend the Summit an opportunity to develop and harness a vareity of leadership skill useable in everyday life.Our Vision: Attendees of the Summit leave with awareness about their own leadership skills and how they can put these into practice in their communities and on campus. We want students to take away that they do not have to be CEOs in order to be leaders in their community. We hope to target students who may not currently be comfortable with leadership or have little experience.
