Note: Mentors are responsible for the cost of obtaining a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.

Program Description

Take part in a cultural exchange between the University of Manitoba and Skownan First Nation! Mentors will introduce Skownan youth to the University of Manitoba and Winnipeg, while learning about life on a First Nations reserve from their mentees. This program takes place from January to April 2018.
  • Monthly workshops and events
  • Two programming weekends in Winnipeg
  • One programming weekend in Skownan First Nation

Students who successfuly complete the program are eligible for recognition on their
Co-Curricular Record (CCR).
