Each undergraduate program shall be reviewed at least once every (10) years on a schedule set by the Vice-President (Academic) & Provost.  In establishing these schedules, every effort will be made to co-ordinate program reviews with accreditation reviews.  The academic unit delivering the program to be reviewed, in coordination with the Undergraduate Program Analyst, shall collect the pertinent data as described in Procedures for the Periodic Review of Undergraduate Programs document.

The process for each academic program review shall consist of the following elements:

(i) the preparation of a Self-Evaluation Report by the unit delivering the program being reviewed;

(ii) an external peer assessment of the report and the academic program being reviewed;

(iii) an opportunity for the unit delivering the program and the Dean/Director of the unit in question to respond to the external assessment; and

(iv) an assessment by the Vice-President (Academic) & Provost respecting the academic review results.
