Biography

Riley started his professional career at the Asper School of Business when he began working with Indigenous Business Education Partners as the Program's Recruiter and Advisor for over 4 years, connecting with Indigenous Youth and Adults to impart the advantages and importance of pursuing an education in business.

Now, as Director, he continues the same work in a different way, focusing on creating more opportunities for Indigenous learners by reducing barriers and increasing the quantity and quality of supports available for them at the Asper School of Business.

Riley graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2019 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours.) degree, and has since completed the Leadership Intensive Program from the James W. Burns Leadership Institute in 2021. A proud member of the Manitoba Métis Federation, Riley grew up in Winnipeg with his Métis roots coming from St. François-Xavier.
