Winnipeg, Man.—Saint Margaret’s Anglican Church, in partnership with St. John’s College and Wycliffe College, is pleased to announce that it will offer two Masters-level theology courses to the Diocese of Rupert’s Land during the 2014/2015 academic year, under the banner of the Ecclesial University project.

Great 20th Century Texts on the Church: its Mission and Splendour, to be offered in the fall term, will be team-taught by Wycliffe College’s Dr. George Sumner and the Rev’d Dr. David Widdicombe.

Theological Exegesis for Preaching will be team-taught by David Widdicombe and a Wycliffe College professor (TBA) in the winter term.

Students wishing to take the courses for credit are welcome to apply through Wycliffe College. Registration opens August 4. Those interested in auditing the course should contact the Saint Margaret’s office.

A series of public lectures will form a component of each course. All Ecclesial University public lectures are open to the Diocese and are offered free of charge. More information about public lectures will be available soon.
