International degree equivalencies

For entrance into the Master's program:

Successful completion of a 4 year Licence (humanities, sciences and law), Diplôme (professional fields), Diplôme d'Études Superieures (D.E.S.), or equivalent (completion of the "long cycle", 4-6 years) from a recognized institution;

A minimum grade of 12 on a 20 point grading scale or assez bien in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Magister, or equivalent Master's degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of an Honours Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution;
• Grading scales may vary within Australia, but a minimum standing of Second Class Honours (upper division) or a minimum grade of credit in the last two years of study is considered acceptable.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a Master’s degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a 3-Year Bachelor's Degree PLUS a 1-year Master's Degree from a recognized institution.  Or, a 4-Year Bachelor's Degree may be accepted;
• A minimum grade of 55% or higher with a minimum standing of Second Division/Class in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Master of Philosophy (2 years) or Doctor of Philosophy (3 years) from a recognized institution, OR successful completion of a 4-Year Bachelor's Degree PLUS 2-Year Master's Degree from a recognized institution.

A minimum grade of 14 in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Bacharel, Licenciado or Titulo (professional degree) from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 7 on a 10 point grading scale (or equivalent) in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Mestre (Mestrado) degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a 4-Year Bachelor's Degree  from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 80%* or B in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Master's Degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a 4-year Licenciado or Titulo profesional or equivalent from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 3.5 on a 5 point grading scale in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Especialista or Magister from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Diploma visokog obrazovanja from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 4 on a 5 point grading scale in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Magistar nauka from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Magistr (Absolvent Vysoke Skoly), Inzenyr, or other professional title from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 2 on a reverse 4 or 5 point grading scale in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Doktor from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a License requiring a minimum of 4 years of study from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 70% or Distinction in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Doktorat.  Please note that Master's degrees are not offered, and Doktorat programs should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• A minimum grade of 7 in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree (4-5 years of study) from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of Good (or B equivalent) in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Master's Degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the PhD program:

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Hauptdiplom, Magister Artium,Staatsexamen or 4 year Baccalaureatus from a recognized institution requiring at least 8 semesters of work;
• A minimum grade of gut or 2.5 out of 6 on a reverse grade point scale in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Master's equivalent or Magistergrad from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of an Honours Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of B or standing of Second Class, Upper Division in the last two years of study. 
• Note that most transcripts will indicate a grading scale.  This grading scale will be used for evaluation.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Master's Degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Egyetemi Oklevel from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 4 on a 5 point scale or jo (good) in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Master's degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a 4-Year Bachelor's Degree or a 3-year Bachelor's Degree PLUS a 1-year Master's Degree from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of B or higher with a minimum standing of Second Class, Upper Division in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Master of Philosophy (2 years) or Doctor of Philosophy (3 years) from a recognized institution, OR successful completion of a 4-Year Bachelor's Degree PLUS 2-Year Master's Degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Sarjana (S1) Degree with a minimum total of 144-160 credit hours from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 7 on a 10 point grading scale or a 3 on a 4 point grading scale in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of Kar shenasi (Bachelor’s) degree from a recognized institution;

For entrance into the Master's program:

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a Diplôme d’Études Supérieures (DES) from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Doctorandus/drs., Meester/mr. or Ingenieur/ir. from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 7 on a 10 point grading scale in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Doctor/dr. from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a 4 year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university;
• A minimum grade of B or a Second Class standing in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a Master’s degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a 4 year Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution;
  National Diploma or Higher National Diploma (including any combination of these) are not equivalent to a 4 year Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum grade of 60% or standing of Second Class, Upper Division in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Master's Degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a 4 year Bachelor’s degree or a 3 year Bachelor’s degree PLUS a 1 year Master’s degree from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 55% or a standing of Second division, upper in the last two years of study.
   

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a 2 year Master of Philosophy or 3 year Doctor of Philosophy from a recognized institution OR successful completion of a 4 year Bachelor’s degree PLUS a 2 year Master’s degree from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree (5 years)* AND Master's Degree (1 year)  from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 2.0 out of 5.0 on a reverse grading scale in the last two years of study.

*Note that starting with 2018 high school graduates, we can accept a four year Bachelor's degree as admissible to a Master's program.

For entrance into the PhD program:

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Magister or Magister inzynier from a recognized institution;

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of Diploma de Licenta or Professional title from a recognized university;
• A minimum grade of 7 on a 10 point grading scale in the last two years of study.

• A minimum grade of 4 on a 5 point grading scale or Good in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Dyplom Pro Prysudzhenia Naukovogo Stupenia Kandydata Nauk (Diploma of Doctor of Sciences) or Master equivalent from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a 4 year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university;
• A minimum grade of 3.0 on a 4 point grading scale or good in the last two years of study.

 For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a Master’s degree in the fields of Engineering, Business or Environmental Sciences from a recognized institution; for all other disciplines, there is currently no Master’s degree equivalent.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of an Honours bachelor degree from a recognized institution within England, Ireland and Wales; OR, successful completion of an Honours bachelor degree or Master’s degree from a recognized university within Scotland (in many cases, a master’s degree is the first higher education degree offered in Scottish institutions);
• A suggested minimum grade of B or equivalent or a standing of Second class, lower division is required in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a Master’s degree or equivalent where said degree requires successful completion of a first degree for admission from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of Licenciatura or Titulo profesional from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 7 on a 10 point grading scale or 14 on a 20 point grading scale in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a Maestria from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of a Bang tot nghiep cu nhan (with a minimum 4 years of study) or Bang tot nghiep dai hoc (with a minimum 4 years of study) from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 7 on a 10 point grading scale or Good / Binh / Kha in the last two years of study.

For entrance into the PhD program:

• Requirements listed above (see Master's program) plus successful completion of a Thac sy or equivalent from a recognized institution.

For entrance into the Master's program:

• Successful completion of an Honour’s Bachelor degree from a recognized institution;
• A minimum grade of 70% with a standing of Second class, upper in the last two years of study.

• Requirements listed above (see Master’s program) plus successful completion of a Master’s degree or Master of Philosophy from a recognized institution.
