Membership is open to anyone interested in the study of both the United States and the relationship of the United States to the Americas as a whole. The CAAS executive is currently working on the creation of a list of members and of new ways of staying in contact with each other. In the meantime, there is no formal membership application; we simply urge prospective members to check the website for updates and for the call for papers for our next annual conference, which will be held in August, 2008 at Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland.
