January 15 is the annual application deadline for Canadian and international submissions to the MFA Program.
However, applications from Canadian and US applicants will be accepted until all places are filled. This opportunity cannot be extended to other international applicants due to the time required to obtain requisite visas and permits.
The MFA program has only one application deadline per year and applications are normally accepted for September entry only.
PART 1: Meet the Minimum Requirements
Applicants to the Master of Fine Art (MFA) program must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours degree (or equivalent) or a Bachelor of Arts Honours with studio major from a recognized university, with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 (B) in the last 60 credit hours of study.
International students should consult the Faculty of Graduate Studies to learn more about additional requirements for their admission.
