Dr. Chris Chinien Dr. Chinien holds his undergraduate degree from McGill University, a Masters degree from the University of Alberta and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Training and Development from Ohio State University. Dr. Chinien has several years of industrial experience. He has also been an educator of adults in the area of Technical and Vocational Education and Training for the past thirty years. Dr. Chinien has taught in various settings, including secondary vocational schools, community colleges and universities. He is currently a professor in the Faculty of Education, University of Manitoba. His responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in Adult, Technical and Vocational Education. He is the Director of the Faculty of Education graduate program in Adult Education as well as the Director of UNEVOC-Canada, the Canadian Center for UNESCOs International Project in Technical and Vocational Education. Dr. Chiniens research interest is focused on adult education, cognitive based teaching, learning to learn, international development, and initiatives to improve human performance in the workplace.
