Objectives

The purpose of the Unlocking Human Potential to Learn conference is therefore three-fold:

  • To familiarize participants with Dr. Feuerstein’s theories and approaches to Learning Skills Enhancement: Learning Potential Assessment Device and Instrumental Enrichment. Researchers and practitioners from around the world will introduce participants to best practices, innovative approaches, and strategies and techniques for enhancing the learning skills of learners in educational and workplace settings
  • The purpose of the workshops is to help educators and trainers to assess individual’s learning potential and assist them in improving their learning ability
  • To provide administrators, educational leaders and policy makers with an overview of Dr. Feuerstein’s work in enhancing learning skills.

Conference Objectives

  • To engage participants in dialogue on the cognitive skills enhancement of children, youth and adult learners.
  • To introduce participants to best practices and innovative approaches, strategies and techniques for enhancing the learning skills of learners in educational and workplace settings.

Workshop Objectives

  • To introduce the theory of Structural Cognitive Modifiability (SCM), and Mediated Learning Experience (MLE) andits applied systems.
  • To train participants in the principles, methods and techniques of Learning Potential Assessment Device (LPAD) and Instrumental Enrichment (IE).
