Karen Hibbard is a sessional instructor in the Foundations Area of the University of Manitoba School of Art. She has worked in the film, animation, multi-media & print industries in Montreal. Hibbard has an M.F.A. from Concordia University, Montreal, 2000; a Diploma in arts media from the Digital Media Studios, Toronto, 1997; a Diploma in Commercial art from George Brown College in Toronto, 1987; and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Guelph University, in Guelph, Ontario, 1984. She has taught at University of Manitoba (2007 - present); Dawson College (2002-2006); Visual Arts Centre (2000-2001); Cegep de Lanaudiere a Joliette (1999-2001); Camp Weredale (1999-2004); and Concordia University (1997-2000). Her work has been exhibited in Canada and Japan.
