Helen Glass Centre for Nursing Officially Opened

An official opening event took place at the Fort Garry campus in April 2000 for the Helen Glass Centre for Nursing. Hundreds of guests, including alumni, faculty, staff, government officials and friends attended the event which included building tours, an unveiling of the donor wall and an official opening ceremony and ribbon cutting.

Features of this three-storey, 70,000 square foot building include hospital and community patient-care laboratories, distance education classrooms, computer labs, video-equipped assessment rooms, and a Campus Health Resource Centre for community use.
