Premiers' Symposium

A day-long Premiers' Symposium took place in November 1999 that brought together four of Manitoba's former premiers to reflect on their years as leaders of the province. The Honourable Duff Roblin, the Right Honourable Edward Schreyer, the Honourable Sterling Lyon and the Honourable Howard Pawley discussed how they now see the issues that shaped and drove the politics of their time. Members of the university community as well as the public attended the symposium, and participated in a question and answer period. This event was made possible through the Duff Roblin Professorship established by the former premier.
