North American Mobility - Student Exchange Program
What is the program?

The North American Mobility Grant Program is a trilateral cooperative agreement between the United States, Canada, and Mexico formed to fund educational exchanges between universities in the three countries.

Through these exchanges graduate students will be given the opportunity to experience the culture of learning in another country's university system, take content courses that count towards their degrees at their home institution, establish relationships and work with faculty from other universities, and in some cases improve language skills in a second language.

In addition, while students are participating in the exchange program, they will be part of a trilateral on-line intercultural communication course. In this course, students will have the opportunity to apply in real-time what they are learning as they explore and share the actual intercultural experiences they are having with other students who are also having intercultural experiences. In short, students who participate in this program will be given the opportunity to begin experiencing themselves as citizens, students, and educators of the world rather than simply of their native countries.
