Reception Honours Teachers

For the past eight years, the Students’ Teacher Recognition Reception has taken place in honour of outstanding teachers. Sponsored by the University of Manitoba Students’ Union and University Teaching Services, the latest reception featured 21 graduating students recognizing teachers from kindergarten to grade 12 and professors in university who have made a special contribution to their education. Each student chooses one K-12 teacher and one post-secondary teacher to recognize. A number of teachers have been honoured with the Students’ Teacher Recognition Award more than once.
