Three researchers from oral biology received renewed MRC funding to continue their work in dentistry.

  • George Bowden received a three-year grant, including equipment funds, totalling $269,161 for his microbiological studies of dental diseases.

  • Norman Fleming received a $223,428, three-year grant to research the regulation and function of enzymes in the salivary glands.

  • Ian Hamilton received a three-year grant, plus equipment, for $259,329 for his study of adaptive and survival strategies of oral infections.
