Brian Oleson, agricultural economics, received a two-year grant totalling $78,400 from the Manitoba Rural Adaptation Council in support of his research to assess the potential of new generation co-operatives in rural Manitoba. The information gained from this study will be published in a manual aimed at helping producers establish their own co-operatives.
