MFA Open Studio Event

Taché Hall & Art Barn, University of Manitoba

Each spring, the School of Art hosts its MFA Open Studio Event, where graduate students open their studio doors to the public. This annual event offers a rare behind-the-scenes look into the creative spaces of emerging artists, showcasing works-in-progress, research explorations, and experimental approaches across a wide range of media.

Visitors are invited to tour the studios at their own pace, engage with artists about their practices, and experience the dynamic environment of the MFA program. Refreshments are provided, and maps are available at the School of Art General Office (313 ARTlab) and throughout event locations.
