The Discover Your Future in Healthcare series features a variety of different occupations from the heath care sector. Sessions include a professional (or two) from the field and admissions and information on academic programming will also be highlighted.

Is this for me?

The Discover Your Future in Healthcare series ran in February 2021 and featured 15 different occupations from the heath care sector. Sessions included a professional (or two) from the field and admissions and information on academic programming was also highlighted.

Sessions include the obvious, such as doctor, physician assistant, or nurse, but also present occupations many don’t realize exist — such as health researcher, midwife, or genetic counsellor. Learn more about the options in healthcare as professionals speak about the occupation, their position, and experiences in the role.

  • a panel of employers who will talk about why they hire Arts graduates,

  • hands-on workshops where a Career Consultant will guide you through the career planning process, take you through hands-on exercises to explore your options and help you plan what comes next, and
  • step-by-step instructions on how to declare a major and stay on track with your chosen program throughout your degree.
