Research achievements

The goal of Dr. Joyce's (she/her) research is to make mental health and addiction treatment easier to access and more effective or people who need it. Dr. Joyce has a particular interest in developing digital treatments and improving care for parents and families, and in studying how treatments can be built into everyday healthcare in ways that are practical, sustainable, and equity-based. She works closely with people with lived/living experience, clinicians, and community partners to ensure treatments are useful in real life and reach people who often face barriers to accessing care.
