Brief bio
As an associate professor at the Max Rady College of Medicine, Dr. Ramzi Helewa specializes in colorectal surgery, endoscopy, and general surgery. He completed his medical education and residency in general surgery at the University of Manitoba, followed by a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Helewa holds a master's degree in surgery with a focus on the quality of care for colorectal cancer therapy in Manitoba.
