Leadership style

I strongly believe leadership is about motivating and empowering others to succeed and it is about building strong teams who work together. My philosophy of leadership is both innate and shaped by life experience, and the diversity in my relationships will allow for creative and innovative thinking. Leadership isn’t always about managing others, and It’s about being a role model for others to aspire not only professionally but personally and for the community.

Teaching philosophy

Inspiring Passion and Preparing Trainees for the Future.

Great teaching is not just about knowledge transfer; it is about inspiring a passion for learning and preparing students for future challenges. I believe effective educators possess a deep passion for their subject, a commitment to fostering critical thinking, and the ability to prepare students for a complex, unpredictable academic career. My teaching philosophy is built on the following core principles:

  1. Active Learning: I strongly advocate for student-centred, active learning approaches that encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and constructive debate. This not only enhances knowledge acquisition but also helps students develop critical skills for lifelong learning and professional success.

  2. Inclusivity in Education: Recognizing the diverse cultural and academic backgrounds of students, I tailor my educational strategies to ensure inclusivity. This involves acknowledging different language proficiencies, learning styles, and prior knowledge bases. By integrating real-world case studies and simulations, I enable students to apply theoretical concepts to practical, real-life scenarios.
