Who we are
Student Counselling and Wellness (SCW) brings together students and a multidisciplinary community of caring wellness professionals, student staff and volunteers to meet, collaborate, and work together to enhance personal and community wellness.
We aim to empower students to actively engage in their well-being, build on their personal strengths and connections within the UM community and beyond, and to pursue their academic goals; recognizing and addressing challenges along the way.
We offer a wide range of services through a holistic, trauma-informed and harm reduction lens. Services include online resources, health promotion events, peer support, a wellness centre, consultation and training services, groups, workshops and professional counselling.
