Research
Research interests
Alankrita is an applied economist working at the intersection of agriculture, climate, weather, and markets. Her area of specialization includes price analysis, agricultural futures and options markets, applied econometrics, and microstructure of derivatives markets. Her area of research interests extends beyond derivatives markets to examine the behavioral mechanisms that drive economic agents' decision-making in agricultural and regional contexts, where such choices can have significant ecological and policy consequences.
