Research interests

Dr. Lawley conducts research in the fields of environmental and agricultural economics. Recent research has addressed:

  • wetland and grassland conservation in prairie agricultural landscapes
  • farmland ownership, land tenure, and adoption of conservation practices
  • disamenity impacts of large-scale livestock operations
  • public perceptions of Canada's supply management system
