Biography

Afrana Esha is an analytical and goal-oriented individual, driven by the passion and curiosity of being in the education sector for over 4 years, focusing on networking, project management and leadership experience. Associated with Asper School of Business as a Co-operative Education Administrator, Afrana specializes on being the first point of contact and providing guidance to the Co-op program Students and employers alike. As the Asper Co-op bridges a connection between employment and academics for students, Afrana focuses on strategizing and streamlining the life cycle throughout this program.

Starting her journey in Canada as an international student, Afrana has solidified her educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as Diploma in Business Administration. In addition to that, she was a regional ambassador for the UN SDG (2017-2019), with acclamations for exceptional leadership, she also represented Breast Cancer Canada (2022) for research and fundraising and holds the Erik Kwan Social Entrepreneurship Award (2018) from Young Founders’ School.

As someone who is motivated to adapt and develop, Afrana’s passion leads to her learning new languages and new concepts or skills in her spare time. So far, her hobbies consist of competitive martial arts, making art, connecting with different communities and reading.
