Rohan Shanker

Rohan Shanker [MBA/23] is the Communications Manager for the Asper School of Business, where he promotes the diverse activities taking place across the School and oversees Asper’s digital communications channels and strategic external audience-facing projects.

He has worked at the University of Manitoba across marketing, communications and teaching roles, supporting student recruitment, digital strategy, brand storytelling, social media, campaigns and stakeholder communications.

A marketing and communications professional with more than 10 years of corporate experience, Rohan has worked with organizations based in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is also a sessional instructor at Asper, where he regularly teaches MKT4210 Strategic Marketing Management and MBA-level marketing courses.

Rohan is an Asper School of Business alumnus, having completed his MBA with a specialization in marketing and sustainability. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
