Kathryn is an Assistant Professor of Physical Education & movement, Health & wellbeing, and Outdoor & Place-based Education. As a teacher of Physical Education, Health, and Outdoor Education, Kathryn has been working with diverse learners across the elementary and high-school sectors in various school-based settings in Australia, the U.K., and Canada since 2008. Kathryn has also worked with many undergraduate and postgraduate students, including teacher candidates, in Physical Education, Environmental Studies, and Climate Change Education in different universities in Australia and Canada. Kathryn’s research is focused on posthumanist and new materialist scholarship and movement pedagogies within an anticolonial praxis to advance relational and sustainable solidarities with Land/Country/Place. Kathryn also serves as an Associate Editor for the Australian Journal of Environmental Education (AJEE).
