Congratulations! You have received an award from The Winnipeg Foundation through your High School! 

The University of Manitoba can process your award payment towards your fee account.

Please take a clear photo of your award letter.  We must be able to easily read the:

  • Award name
  • Award number (if applicable)
  • Your name as the letter recipient
  • The value of the award
  • The Winnipeg Foundation contact information

Along with a photo of your letter, it is important to include the following details in the subject line of your email:

  • Your UM Student ID – Award Name
    • i.e. 0081234567 – Anthony McLaughlin Scholarship

Below is an example of what your email should look like:

If you have more than one award letter, please feel free to attach multiple award letter photos in your email.  In this case, your subject line should read:

  • Your UM Student ID – Award Name
    • i.e. 0081234567 – multiple awards

Please note, we are NOT able to process award letters without a valid UM Student ID number.

Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing. The Winnipeg Foundation High School Awards should not be relied upon to pay your tuition by the fee deadline stated by the University of Manitoba.  Please make appropriate arrangements to pay your tuition on time.  If your Winnipeg Foundation High School award payment is applied after you have paid your tuition in full, you are able to request a refund for the remaining credit on your account.
