Cost of attendance

Tuition cost per micro-diploma

 Year 1
Canadian Students$22,000.00 plus required fees
International Students$44,000.00 plus required fees

Our micro-diploma programs are each designed to be completed in one year. After the first year, a continuing fee of $3,750.00 per semester, (domestic students). Students may take up to three years in total to complete the micro-diploma.

Disclaimer: Fees are approved annually by The University of Manitoba Board of Governors. In the event of a discrepancy between the fee rates approved by the Board and those published on this website, the fee rates approved by the Board will prevail. Flexible and customizable learning paths

The Internationally Trained Lawyer Program offers flexible pathways to help many students meet NCA academic requirements. Pathways are tailored to each student’s unique needs, including for those educated in civil law jurisdictions for whom the NCA offers no recognition of prior credentials.

Our Micro-Diploma in Canadian Public Law on its own is often sufficient to meet the needs of internationally trained lawyers. Students assigned additional courses by the NCA or who have been assigned one or two years of in-person learning can also be accommodated in many instances.

Our micro-diplomas can also be combined with a LLM and or Master of Human Rights program (separate application and admission required) to meet your professional goals or NCA in-person learning requirements.
