Statistics Help Centre
The Statistics Help Centre is a resource available for statistics students to get help with general questions or concepts in statistics courses. The centre is run by graduate students and senior undergraduate students in statistics that are available to help.
Hours and location
We are open to any and all students seeking help with a course in the department of statistics. No appointment is necessary! Check your course syllabus for Zoom links to the online Help Centre offers.
Hours (September - end of term*)
No appointments are necessary.
The Help Centre will remain open during these hours until the last STAT 1000, 1150, or 2000 exam.
- Monday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (via Zoom, check course page for a link)
* Beginning December 12, the Help Centre will only be open Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Help Centre is closed during holidays and the Fall break.
Location
The Statistics Help Centre is located in room 107, Allen Building.
Help Centre rules
- No printing.
- No food or drink.
- Computers are for statistics students and work only. (No Facebook, email, and others)
- Please turn your cell phones off or silent.
