Statistics Help Centre
The Statistics Help Centre is a resource available for statistics students to get help with general questions or concepts in statistics courses. The centre is run by graduate students and senior undergraduate students in statistics that are available to help.
Hours and location
We are open to any and all students seeking help with a course in the department of statistics. No appointment is necessary! Check your course syllabus for Zoom links to the online Help Centre offers.
Hours (September 3 to December 5, 2025)
No appointments are necessary.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. via Zoom.
Starting December 8, 2025, the centre will have reduced hours and will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., staying open until the day of the latest introductory course final exam.
The Statistics Help Centre is closed on holidays and closures announced by the University of Manitoba.
Location
The Statistics Help Centre is located in room 107, Allen Building.
Help Centre rules
- No printing.
- No food or drink.
- Computers are for statistics students and work only. (No Facebook, email, and others)
- Please turn your cell phones off or silent.
