Community-Based Research (CBR) can be a powerful tool in community development, because it addresses issues and questions that emerge from community settings, while building relationships, knowledge, and shared power. This session will introduce the core principles of CBR with a focus on recent projects taking on safety issues in inner city Winnipeg.
