Each year the Manitoba Association of Landscape Architects (MALA) and the Landscape Architecture Student Association (LASA) host a Speed Mentoring event, which creates a casual setting for conversations surrounding various topics in Landscape Architecture between students and professionals. Speed mentoring brings students and professionals into a relaxed setting where professionals answer student-led questions regarding what they can look forward to and what challenges they may encounter upon graduating from the Faculty of Architecture and entering the profession. Virtual Speed Mentoring will consist of brief introductions by professionals, two (2) rounds of breakout discussions, followed by a draw for student prizes!

Event Agenda:
Sign in (ZOOM credentials via Eventbrite Registration): 6:00 PM
Brief Introduction by Professionals: 6:05 – 6:30 PM
ZOOM Breakout Rooms w/Professionals Round 1: 6:30 – 7:00 PM
ZOOM Breakout Rooms w/Professionals Round 2: 7:00 – 7:30 PM

This event is an excellent opportunity to relax, pour a drink, and discuss a career and practice in Landscape Architecture amongst students and professionals. If you have questions about the event, please contact Aaron Bomback
