Student Success Week
March 2-6, 2026 is the Student Success Week at UM. This week, learn about and connect with student supports, resources, and activities that can help you stay motivated and move forward in your studies, especially during a time of year when many may be experiencing academic or personal challenges.

Your success is about more than a grade on your transcript. Your success is dependent on your academic, emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
Peer Program scavenger hunt
Whether you’ve been a part of peer programs on campus or not, Student Experience and Development (SEAD) team wants to invite you to join our Peer Program Scavenger Hunt for Student Success Week.
This Scavenger Hunt will have you exploring five Student Affairs peer programs at different offices around the Fort Garry campus as you solve clues.
Those who answer all the clues and collect all five pins at the stations will be entered to win a limited edition Mondetta x UM Hoodie and a $100 UM Bookstore Gift Card.
Completing the Scavenger Hunt will also give you access to a full directory of the all 28 peer programs running across UM - a resource that will be useful long after Student Success Week ends.
How it works
On March 4 and 5, pick up your lanyard and physical map at the Connection Desk at University Centre. On both days, stations are open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with peers ready at each location to guide participants through the quest. Complete a station, earn a pin for your lanyard and one step closer to a ticket for the grand prize draw. Visit all five and walk away with a full set of pins.
Return to the SEAD office (225 UMSU University Centre) to complete the final quest, check out and seal your adventure.
Beyond the grand prize, participants who complete the hunt walk away with access to a full directory of all 28 peer programs operating across UM – a resource that stays useful long after Student Success Week ends.

This is not a workshop on writing better sentences or perfecting drafts.
