Aidan Topping (she/her)

Aidan Topping (she/her) joined the Centre for Engineering Professional Practice and Engineering Education (now Department of Engineering Education) as a faculty member in 2016 after a decade of working with engineering students to develop their communicative competencies. She is a teaching-focused faculty member whose work primarily involves the instruction of core technical communication courses and the communicative elements within the Capstone group design courses. She also co-instructs a graduate course on the engineering design process.

Aidan is passionate about meeting students where they are as individuals and working together to ensure they have the skills and resources they need to be successful students and engineers.
