Campus tours
Fridays at 9:30 a.m and 1:30 p.m.
Join current students and staff for a guided tour of the Fort Garry campus in south Winnipeg. We’ll show you the buildings and classrooms where students spend the majority of their time and introduce you to our academic programs and services. Allow approximately two hours for your visit.
Tours for larger groups, Indigenous students and their families, and those interested in recreation facilities are also available.
Where We First Stand Transition Camp
Rural and northern Manitoba Indigenous students relocating to Winnipeg to attend UM will gain valuable skills at this week-long summer transition camp hosted by Indigenous Student Recruitment + Community Relations.

Spend a week on campus gaining valuable skills for living in the city, adjusting to new transportation methods, budgeting, and living independently.
Minnesota Student Day
Minnesota Student Day is a campus visit day exclusively for prospective USA students and families from Minnesota. It coincides with MEA school break and Minnesota student college/university exploration.

In-person event: Pembina Hall Lounge, Fort Garry campus
Join us for a guided campus tour, residence visit and an overview of how the application process works for prospective students from Minnesota. Choose to attend either our morning or afternoon session (do not register to attend both sessions). Registered guests will be emailed event instructions and parking information to review ahead of your visit.

Fall Open House
UM’s annual Fall Open House is best suited for grade 12 students, as well as parents and supporters. During this event, you'll learn about UM faculties and programs, the application process, and scholarships and awards.

New Buffalo Education Gathering
Hosted by Indigenous Student Recruitment + Community Relations, this open house event is for urban, rural and northern Manitoba Indigenous students.

This one-day event welcomes prospective Indigenous youth and adults from Winnipeg, as well as northern and rural communities in Manitoba. Prospective students will explore campus and learn more about post-secondary education at UM.
Winter Open House
UM’s annual Winter Open House is intended for school groups and individual students and families. Explore campus and experience a day in the life of a UM student by attending presentations and tours.
