Since 2012, the Canada–Mexico Binational Indigenous/Intercultural Roundtable has provided a platform for cross-border exchange and collaboration. It supports student mobility, joint research, and partnerships rooted in Indigenous communities and knowledge systems.

The objectives for the 2026 Roundtable
The objectives for the 2026 Roundtable are to:
- Strengthen partnerships and collaboration between Canada and Mexico’s post-secondary institutions and scholars
- Discuss intersecting innovations and research opportunities
- Facilitate student exchanges
The agenda will include cultural/experiential learning components, panels, workshops, keynote speakers and informal networking opportunities.
